Dr. Thomas N. Lee

Research Professor of Meteorology and Physical Oceanography at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, Univ. of Miami. Dr. Lee's research involves studies of ocean currents, ranging from local coastal currents to large scale oceanic currents. His particular interests are transport and upwelling of new nutrients.. He is presently conducting research on circulation in the south Florida coastal system including the Florida Keys, Florida Bay and southwest shelf with implications for water quality and larvae recruitment.
