Mark Carter

Mr. Mark Carter, with a degree in Chemistry, is currently
Chief Scientist of Dearborn Electronics, Inc. and is
responsible of the design and development of power
electronic components for aerospace and aeronautical
applications. A Florida native, he served as the 2008 State
Chairman of the Coastal Conservation Association Florida
(CCA FL), a non-profit organization of recreational
saltwater anglers. He currently represents Florida on CCA's
National Board of Directors. CCA's purpose is to advise and
educate the public on the conservation of marine resources
with the objective to conserve, promote and enhance the
present and future availability of these coastal resources
for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public. Mr.
Carter was recognized by CCA FL as Conservationist of the
Year in 2003 for his work in shoreline restoration in the
Indian River Lagoon. In 2002 CCA FL named him Volunteer of
the Year for his tireless dedication to protection and
conservation of Florida&'s marine resources.
