Meetings
The Oceans Council meets regularly to allow them to discuss
issues and make decisions as part of accomplishing their duties.
The Council operates under Florida’s Government in the Sunshine
Act and carries out its deliberations in publicly-noticed
meetings. The meetings also allow the Council to receive
information from state and federal agencies, private and
non-governmental organizations, and private citizens to help
guide the Council in its activities. Time is allocated at each
meeting to allow public comment, the guidelines for which are
available through a link on this page.

Forum Working Group Teleconference Meetings
The Forum Working Group will hold teleconferences to
develop, plan, and prepare for Council-sponsored forums
for the purposes of engaging the public and governmental
officials on topics of Council business. The
teleconferences will be held on Mondays from 10 am to 12
pm starting March 31, 2008 through June 30, 2008. The
