Meetings

The Oceans Council has met regularly since 2005 to allow them to discuss issues and make decisions as part of accomplishing their duties. The Council operates under Florida’s Government in the Sunshine Act and carries out its deliberations in publicly-noticed meetings. The meetings also allow the Council to receive information from state and federal agencies, private and non-governmental organizations, and private citizens to help guide the Council in its activities. Time is allocated at each meeting to allow public comment, the guidelines for which are available through a link on this page.
